School Starts at the BYAW Academy, Ferekoroba

In partnership with Building Youth Around the World (BYAW), we recently completed a middle school and teachers housing in the village of Ferekoroba. $50,000 donated for School in FALLA

GREAT NEWS!! The remote village of Falla will get a new 3-classroom middle school thanks to the generosity of a donor who wishes to remain anonymous. This donor has kindly donated $50,000.00 to fulfill the desire of the village to see their children achieve a higher education. We will continue to raise the remaining $10,000.00 needed. Wasatch Academy welcomes two new Malian students

Empower Mali is excited to welcome the two newest scholarship students to Wasatch Academy in Mt. Pleasant, Utah. Thanks to the generosity of the principal of Wasatch Academy. Much progress has happened on site with the teachers housing in Ferekoroba, Mali. The village is excited to see yet another significant construction happening, which further solidifies an increased access to education. In just 4 weeks, the exterior walls have been constructed, stucco plastered and a roof put on. Within the next few weeks the interior will be completed. On April 19th,2014, the Building Youth around the world foundation donated $50000 to construct a middle school in the village of Ferekoroba , Mali , West Africa .
